Summer Readings
It’s time to book your summer birth chart reading! Readings are available in-person or via Zoom by clicking the links above.
This summer will be filled with cosmic adventures that we could all use a little guidance on navigating. How will you show up when you’re called to shine during this month’s Jupiter cazimi? When Uranus enters Gemini, what will communication look like for you? What will be your Mercury Retrograde theme in July? We’ll also take a look at what the solar and lunar eclipses will influence for you personally in September.
Reminder! I’m available for events and parties this summer as well. Read more about that here and let’s work together soon! Feel free to reply to this email with questions.
Photo of the week: Me at diModa last week (where my little business lives)! Did you know I’ve been working at diModa for 15 years? I started off at the front desk while practicing massage therapy elsewhere. In 2016 I quit my spa job and founded Inhale Exhale. April of 2017 I moved my massage practice to diModa, let my front desk position go and the rest is history!
StarBody Report
The moon will be full in Sagittarius this Wednesday and I can’t help but feel like this is the unofficial kick off to summer! Sag is such a fun-loving fire sign and with the sun (opposing the moon) in the equally fun air sign of Gemini, the possibilities are endless. Both signs love to socialize, explore, teach and learn.
What has completed its cycle in your life? Which out dated narratives or loose ends are you tying up? Something has run its course and when the moon is full, it is its job to help you figure out exactly what that “something” is.
Checking to see which house the full moon in Sag will be in for you strengthens your access to its magic. Once you’ve identified which house Sagittarius (and therefore Wednesday's full moon) is in, check out the guide below for your very own full moon message.
If you’ve had a reading with me and need help identifying the appropriate house, reply to this email for help.
FIRST HOUSE
This is the house the full moon will be in for me. When a full moon is in our first house of self and ego, there’s an emphasis on how we’re perceived and/or wish to be perceived. I encourage you to consider how you show up out of habit or as a result of external programming. The parts of you that no longer align with your identity are ready to be released. How are you misrepresenting the real you?
Body parts to nurture for clarity and grounding:
Face, Scalp.
SECOND HOUSE
The second house in one’s birth chart represents what they value and the practical portions of their life. Often our values evolve but we don’t reorganize our material world to reflect our inner world. Click here for a previous post on how to re-establish your values and the impact of applying them to your everyday life.
Body parts to nurture for clarity and grounding:
Neck, shoulder.
THIRD HOUSE
Communication is key when a full moon is in your third house. Are your words being misinterpreted? Is there something you’re holding back? Or maybe the opposite is true → too much talking, not enough listening. There is something that needs to be said and the old way of doing so just isn’t going to work this time.
Body parts to nurture for clarity and grounding:
Arms, hands, lungs.
FOURTH HOUSE
The fourth house is all about family and home. This is a great time to switch up the way you run your household and connect with loved ones. Even some simple tidying would go a long way. Another idea is to host an intimate outdoor gathering this Wednesday - beneath the full moon, with the folks you love most.
Body parts to nurture for clarity and grounding:
Stomach, breast, chest.
FIFTH HOUSE
Our vitality and self expression is called to be examined when a full moon is in our fifth house. How do you express yourself through play? Check out this post where I explored the concept of play as an adult for extra insight. Play is the purest, most fun road to self discovery and the full moon is encouraging it all the way.
Body parts to nurture for clarity and grounding:
Heart, upper back, spine.
SIXTH HOUSE
The sixth house signifies the best way to take care of ourselves and others. Full moons in our sixth house want us to take a look at what could be different in the self care department. Evaluate which daily health and wellness routines could use a refresh. Also consider if your efforts in servicing others is matched when servicing yourself.
Body parts to nurture for clarity and grounding:
Digetstive system.
SEVENTH HOUSE
When a full moon is in our seventh house of partnership, the call is to get curious about our relationships. Often the seventh house is thought of as the house of romance (and it is) but this house also includes anyone you’re partnering with in any capacity. What’s to be considered most this week is if your partnerships are fair, balanced and harmonious.
Body parts to nurture for clarity and grounding:
Kidneys, lower back.
EIGHTH HOUSE
The full moon is asking us to make a deeply profound transformation when it’s in our eighth house. Often this transformation is psychological. How can you better support your mental health? Because the eighth house is the house of “taboos”, examine any hidden truths you’ve buried. What needs to be resurfaced, revealed and released before your rebirth?
Body parts to nurture for clarity and grounding:
Reproductive organs.
NINTH HOUSE
Worldly culture and philosophical studies are ninth house themes. When a full moon is here, we’re encouraged to get out and explore with the hope of learning something new. The ninth house gives us permission to independently and passionately run off into the fire; only to return with an abundance of multi-cultural wisdom and philosophies to share.
Body parts to nurture for clarity and grounding:
Hips, liver.
TENTH HOUSE
The full moon wants us to get buttoned up and serious about our goals (often pertaining to career but not always) when it’s in our tenth house. The overall call here is structure, stability and establishing a supportive foundation for your future. What do you need to let go of in order to welcome new habits that are more aligned with your future self?
Body parts to nurture for clarity and grounding:
Skeletal system.
ELEVENTH HOUSE
The eleventh house is the house of community and social circles. Is it time to make some new friends? Is it time to let some old ones go? Get social and outside with the people who share your vision for your community. This can look like joining a group or club, volunteering or simply getting better acquainted with your neighbors.
Body parts to nurture for clarity and grounding:
Calves, ankles.
TWELFTH HOUSE
Twelfth house energy asks us to tap into our intuition, spirituality and a sense of otherworldlinesses. The full moon here wants us to get quiet enough to hear our innate knowing without any disruptions outside of ourselves. Wednesday is a wonderful time to honor and call upon your ancestors for assistance with this. The less input/more output on Wednesday, the better. Clear your channel and listen for the whisper.
Body parts to nurture for clarity and grounding:
Feet, lymphatic system.
Til next week,
:) Ferris
