You’re not nice.
You’re not nice. You’re kind, thoughtful, considerate, compassionate.
To be “nice” feels performative or like an obligation. To refer to someone else as “nice” feels lazy… to me.
Don’t just be nice. Be nice with the intention to be of service. That way our niceness is far more impactful for others, more fulfilling for us and without room for resentment. Oh yea and here’s your friendly reminder to
be of service to yourself first.
Now, that’s nice.

We’re nearing the end of spring and it’s been a fiery one with assertive Aries holding the torch and leading the way! Aries transits have been pushing us all to re-consider and re-organize life as we know it. Can you feel it? Think spring cleaning on steroids.
It didn’t start off this way though. Our initiation into spring lacked its typical momentum as the Sun in Aries shared space with Mercury and Venus retrograde. These two retrogrades slowed us down and got us all thinking..
🌸 What do we value? What/ who/ how do we love? How can we relate better and connect deeper?
Late March, amongst the retrogrades, a solar eclipse and a lunar one too, Neptune also entered Aries. Our creative juices started flowing, we dared to dream new dreams and when Venus and Mercury retrograde went direct in April, we collectively exhaled a sigh of relief. It began to feel like spring and many of us sprung into action.
🌸 What new creative endeavors have you pursued or did you pick back up this spring? What reoccurring dreams (conscious or unconscious) have been presenting themselves? What new values are you living by?
By the end of April, Mars moved into the boisterous fire sign of Leo. This energy, in combination with Mercury and Venus re-entering Aries (returning from their retrogrades back into Pisces), super solidified Spring’s return by early May.
To top it off, Saturn is (newly) in Aries too, nudging us to take the necessary steps to set ourselves up for success. Like I said last week, Saturn is the disciplinarian and when we follow the rules - we get the rewards. Reminder that we have freedom to choose what we do with the energy the stars present; so choose wisely. Saturn transits are often challenging but always in our best interest.
🌸 What bloomed for you this spring and how will you protect and nourish it?
As we’re in Gemini season, the last zodiac sign of spring, let us reflect on where we’ve been and what we’ve done. Why? Because in the words of Ferris Buller:
"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
If you don’t wanna miss it, you gotta look up. Using astrology as a tool for reflection empowers us to move forward with clarity and confidence. Having trouble answering the questions above? Try skimming through your journal if you keep one. If you don’t, check your text messages, social media or photos to see what you’ve been up to this spring and how your life has been evolving.
Til next week,
:) Ferris
