Manifestation
Manifestation; a buzz word I think we’ve all heard enough times within recent years 😬 Repetition of a phrase or word extracts its meaning and magic, one of my biggest pet peeves. Almost makes me want to avoid the topic all together but I have a question for you that I can’t ignore- What if we manifest the things we don’t want, same as the things we do want?
I see manifestation as materializing the people, places and things we feel we deserve on a subconscious level. Often manifesting is thought to happen when we focus consciously on something <insert vision boards and affirmations> but it makes more sense to me that we materialize from a place of how we feel, not what we think.
For example; have you ever dressed up, looked in the mirror and thought “Wow I look great today!” and then left the house to behave in a way that contradicted that very thought? Constantly adjusting your outfit, incessantly checking yourself out in the mirror, deflecting compliments? You know logically you’re killing it but you don’t believe it’s really true.
Maybe it’s happened career wise. You have the qualifications and experience for the job you want but you play small during the interview or you don’t even apply in the first place. We have all done something similar at one point or another and that’s because although we consciously know we’re worthy of something, our subconscious doesn’t agree. The universe responds to what we do, not what we say. This is a very clear example of how actions speak louder than words.
When you think about it this way, manifestation is just as practical as it is spiritual.
So are we equally manifesting what we don’t want just as we manifest what we do? I personally believe so. Reprogramming our deeply held beliefs (the ones we need to first become aware of) and understanding why they’re present in the first place is how we start manifesting what we actually desire. The Expanded Podcast is my favorite for practical manifestation tips and tricks. This episode is the perfect place to start if you’re interested → Listen on Spotify or the Apple Podcasts app. The episode begins at about 8 minutes in.
Happy manifesting, folks!

The new moon today is sharing space with Mercury in the sign Mercury rules; Gemini. Because Mercury governs thought and communication, imagine what it means now that it’s newly (as of yesterday) hanging in the sign it’s most comfy and expressive in til June 8th. I foresee some important conversations on the horizon and because Saturn is now in Aries (5/24/2025 - 4/12/2028), don’t be surprised if there’s a sense of urgency bubbling beneath the surface.
Saturn, the school principal, loves nothing more than for us to set the boundaries and build the structures necessary for our future betterment. The principal wants us to do the homework and Mercury in Gemini, the student/teacher, is working with Saturn to create, express and think up some new ways of doing so. Backed by the new moon in Gemini, many of us will be opening new doors to new and inspired conversations with newpeople about new things! I’m here for it! I encourage it and I also encourage discernment.
Please do not word vomit or overshare. Do not trauma dump. Do not let your spiraling thoughts get the best of you.
Because Gemini rules the lungs, I recommend breathwork for grounding and clarity.
You can create a beautiful new moon ritual using white candles (to symbolize purity and new beginnings) and your chosen breathwork routine. Pierce and I use the box breathing method (inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds, repeat) however there’s an array of ways to practice breathwork. You can search Google or Youtube for additional guidance. There’s even breathwork apps you can download.
Light your candles, take a seat or lay down and choose a flame to focus on. This will keep you present during your breathwork routine. Once you get started, focus on your intentions. Here’s an example if you use the box breathing method:
INHALE. What new doors are opening for me and which will be most beneficial to walk through? Pause for the answer…
EXHALE.
INHALE. Any unspoken words that need to be expressed? Pause for the answer…
EXHALE.
INHALE. What do I need to let go of to create space for my new beginning? Pause for the answer…
EXHALE.
Take your time and repeat these questions til the answers become clear. To make this ritual extra impactful, try it outside under the new moon.
Feel free to respond with question and comments,
:) Ferris
