New year, new values.
As always, inspired by my Hustle and Play practice, I’ve picked three new values to prioritize this year. My 2025 picks were connection, intentionality and surrender. Interestingly (and not deliberately), my values this year reflect a deepening of last year’s. Keep reading for my 2026 picks!
Authenticity
After years of exploring the concept of surrender and what it means to “release control”, I now know that the key to letting go is showing up 100% as myself, in spite of any and everything. This revelation hit me hard last year and I wrote about it here.
Embodiment
The saying “Don’t talk about it, be about it.” comes to mind when I think of what the word embodiment means to me, taking last year’s value intentionality even further. More of me practicing what I preach in 2026.
Interdependence
For me, interdependence will look like making myself more available to others and allowing others to be more available for me. This feels like a deepening of 2025’s value → connection. More socializing and asking for/accepting/offering help this year!

Welcome to Aquarius season! Can you feel the electricity in the air? If not yet, you will soon. As an Aquarius myself, I’m pretty familiar with this energy so let’s talk about it.
Aquarians are known for being ahead of the curve and reinventing what others don’t even notice. At times, we stand out like a sore thumb; proudly, stubbornly and without permission or approval. However! We do love our independence as much as we love other humans (a bit of a conundrum, I know).
Community is our thing although it might not always seem that way. We love to lend a hand and solve a problem. As air signs, connection and communication are high up on our love list. We are the freaks who actually consider studying a hobby and the geeks who store information in every fiber of our being.
