Consistency is Key
I didnβt think I was a gym person til I found a place that met my values. Now, one year later, Iβm still showing up. I started off going one day a week for the first 6 months. Eventually, I got up to three days and now Iβm back down to one, sometimes two, becauseβ¦ life.
Iβm not a βgo hard or go homeβ type of person, but more of an βall or nothingβ type of person. I appreciate a slow burn because I know consistency is key. Working out one day a week might not seem like much, but what it did for me was establish a routine I can build on. My goal is the ability to take walks and carry my groceries in my 80βs. That requires movement practices that are sustainable, not ones that burn me out.
Hereβs how to use astrology as a tool for staying consistent in the gym: check your Mars (assertion, drive) and Venus (love, values) placements in your birth chart.
Mine are both in Pisces. This lets me know, that in order to stick with something, I need a supportive, welcoming, encouraging community. Itβs important you move in a way that aligns with your natural rhythm to maintain consistency. Pisces is an emotionally aware water sign that sort of floats through life, so I need workouts that are effective, yet allow me to push myself at my own pace. I knew it was necessary for me to find a supportive environment and a trainer that wasn't forceful.
This is the kind of thing we look at when you book a StarBody Reading. Astrology is simply the study of the patterns and cycles that make you, you. Stick with your innate patterning and youβll win every time. And, ladies! If youβre looking for a small, woman-owned gym in San Jose that offers strength training and pilates, reply to this email for the name of mine.
With intention,
:) Ferris
