The sun enters Leo tomorrow! such a beautiful transit because Leo is ruled by the sun, meaning the sun is happiest in this sign. This is the second zodiac season of summer and because the sun influences our sense of vitality, we’re likely to feel a bit more inspired and energetic in the coming weeks (yes, even while navigating Mercury retrograde which I’ll cover in next week’s newsletter).
Leo, a fire sign and the heartbeat of our zodiac, is naturally influential and inspirational. You can always count on a Leo to light up a room and bring the good vibes. If you could use this kind of fire and desire in your life, keep reading to learn how to tap in to Leo energy during their season.
❤️🔥 Heart-centered embodiment.
Leo rules the heart which explains their undeniable passion and magnetism. Movement that gets your blood flowing and heart pumping is perfect for cultivating that essence for yourself regardless of your zodiac sign. Try something vigorous like running, jumping jacks or even dancing if you want to keep it fun!
Suggested bodywork for Leo season would be a heart chakra clearing or back stretches because Leo also rules the spine. Remember to check-in on your posture from time to time. Are you sitting up straight? This is one of the best ways to embody that Leo-like confidence.
An upper back massage is also recommended because this is yet another part of the body that Leo rules.
🍭 Child-like play.
Initiate some child-like play like only a Leo can! the goal here is connection to yourself and others in an enjoyable way and there’s no better season to do so than summer. Get dramatic with it because Leo is know for their theatrics. I suggest something that lights you up and possibly that you once loved as a kid. 💅🏾 Show up, show out, show off!
Leo isn’t shy and I encourage you not to be either during this time. It’s often thought that Leo is self-centered and egotistical. Sure, this can be true at times because there are healthy and unhealthy expressions of every trait we each hold. However, my belief is that when Leo seeks attention from an intentional, authentic, grounded place- it’s actually for the benefit of others.
Leo’s generosity and loyalty often leads them to “putting on a show” for the sake of making their loved ones smile. Dress up, be kind, socialize and be your best self as an act of service.
