Venus joins Mercury in Leo today til September 19th and I’m feeling good about it! The sun moved out of Leo last week meaning it’s now Virgo season- a zodiacal season rooted in grounded, earth energy. You may begin to feel yourself slowing down but you can count on Venus in Leo to keep the spirit of summer alive til Fall. Let’s explore what it means now that Venus is in one of the most boisterous signs of the zodiac!
Venus in Leo screams love for self and others to me. Although Leo is known for being quite self-centered and attention seeking, I think it’s important to remember there’s healthy and unhealthy expressions of every trait each zodiac sign embodies.
Some astrologers believe that Leo’s self-centeredness stems from a place of actually wanting to please others more than themselves. Hear me out because I could see how someone, especially someone with a heart as big and generous as a Leo, could consider showing off as a form of entertainment and an act of service. I mean, Leo is naturally one of the most theatrical and playful signs after all.
Venus, the planet of love and looks, is sure to increase our desire for adoration while it’s in the sign of Leo. And don’t be surprised when you get the sudden urge to switch your style up.
